River Levels

Thames River Water Level at 02:15 today.

The Environment Agency gauging station at Westmill Cricklade monitors  the water level of the River Thames at 15 minute intervals. The height recorded is in meters above the station datum which is 78.52 mAOD (Above Ordnance Datum). Adding the station reading to the datum gives the water level height above mean sea level.

Flooding on North Meadow usually starts when the gauge reads between 0.5m and 0.6m. Above 0.6m the meadow will be visibly flooded.

River Churn Water Level at 02:15 today.

The Environment Agency gauging station at Cerney Wick monitors  the water level of the River Churn at 15 minute intervals. The height recorded is in meters above the station datum which is 82.18 mAOD (Above Ordnance Datum). Adding the station reading to the datum gives the water level height above mean sea level.

Flooding on North Meadow usually starts when the gauge reads between 0.4m and 0.5m.

The Environment Agency has a rainfall Tipping Bucket Station at South Cerney which records rainfall in mm every 15 minutes.
