Species Records Database

UK species recording is understandably focused on species orders and families. Many species take a great deal of skill and experience to identify accurately. This species database for North Meadow attempts to consolidate the records that are available for this important National Nature Reserve.

The database is a very small proportion of the species present on the site. Some species groups are very well recorded such as vascular plants thanks to the research carried out by the Floodplain Meadows Partnership and records from Natural England. Other groups such as beetles and bugs have hardly any records. It hoped that over time to continually add to the records for this site.
